A lifetime dream fulfilled - Safari holiday in South Africa
We had the pleasure of booking this amazing trip of a lifetime for Ben and his family. There holiday consisted of 3 days on a safari, visiting an elephant sanctuary, 4 nights in Cape town, and finally 2 nights whale watching in Hermanus.
Ben says one of the things he wont' forget it seeing how happy everyone was, even though they had so little. An unexpected experience was when he and his family was escorted back to their lodge by an armed ranger - because of animals not people! Eating meals outside by fires under blankets and hot water bottles, trying amazing new food!
The family visited Hermanus, and saw whales where one even swam under the boat! They saw African penguins in Cape point/Cape town "they were very cute and the chicks were even cuter."
They visited an elephant sanctuary, where they could feed, stroke and walk with them. One elephant even gave a kiss out!
They also saw Lions, Cheetahs, a baby Rhino with it's mum, Elephants, a Giraffe, a Buffalo, Impala, Kudu, Warthog, Wildebeast and Zebras.
Ben and his family stayed in apartments in Hermanus and in Cape Town which were really luxurious. "It reminds me of the 80s classic Miami Vice"
