Braille - In addition to braille in lifts areas, there is also a selection of talking books available from the library. P&O are able to provide menus for the main dining restaurant, in large print and braille. (please request)

Children - We do cater for disabled children in terms of accessibility however we do not offer one to one care and if the child needs this then a parent or carer needs to be present at all times. Disabled children are more than welcome to join in with all activities and events run by the youth department.

Hearing facilities - The Reception Desk on each ship has a hearing loop facility, this is only available at specific points of the desk, which requires you to switch your hearing aid to the "t" switch. In addition a hearing loop facility is available in the Spa on Adonia.

The main theatres offer an "infra-red" hearing system with headsets available at reception. Some of the smaller show lounges also offer this facility, please enquire once you are on board. Please note this headset is not suitable for someone who requires the use of a permanent hearing device. The safety video is also available in British Sign Language on the in-cabin tv

All of the ships offer an Ameriphone system which assists profoundly deaf passengers in the event of an emergency and alerts the passenger when there is a knock at the cabin door. Passengers can also communicate any questions / concerns with reception via a keyboard. Please note that Ameriphones must be booked in advance and are available on a first come, first served basis.

Assistance dogs- P&O Cruises welcome certified Assistance Dogs on each of their ships; passengers travelling with Assistance Dogs must notify us in advance of their intention. Assistance Dogs may not be permitted ashore in certain ports of call during your cruise in line with current DEFRA regulations which apply in the UK.
