Disabled Holidays in Strasbourg

Strasbourg lies in the Alsace region of north eastern France, near the German border. Having swapped German and French hands over the years, the influence of both in its culture and architecture can clearly be seen and felt. Strasbourg is the seat of the European Parliament and made up of twisting alleys, crooked half timbered houses, winstubs - cosy Alsatian taverns - with the River Ill running right through. It is also famous for the stunning Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Strasbourg, started in the 12th century, once the world’s tallest building and still the sixth tallest church in the world.
