Benidorm is an extremely affordable holiday destination, with accommodation that is modern, clean and well appointed and plenty of things to see and do. The fact that so many holidaymakers go and return year after year is testament to Benidorm’s enduring appeal.
The resort is mainly flat, has an outstanding year round climate, great entertainment for all ages and a fully accessible beach.

Accessible Beaches
The beaches are the jewels in Benidorm’s crown; the popular Levante right in the centre of town, the more laid back Poliente or Malpas, the strip of sand hidden from the street by rocks. Enjoy over 4 miles of golden beach adapted for disabled passengers; ramped access, a wide wooden path enabling wheelchair users to get right down to the sea. There, you can choose to use sea-friendly plastic wheelchairs. For those with limited mobility who just need that bit of support, there are beach and sea-friendly walking sticks/crutches. There are three people employed to help disabled passengers in and out of the water and the beach has access to a disabled changing rooms. An accessible beach library is also available with books, newspapers and audio books. A new children’s area of the beach offers beach toys and organised games and the best bit of news is that all the beach facilities are free!
Although the seafront may be 21st century, the winding streets of the old town with its Baroque church nestling just behind are a wonderful reminder of Benidorm’s 14th century roots. In the evening, the area comes alive with the sounds and smells of tapas bars serving up authentic tapas and sangria to hungry and thirsty tourists. A casual stroll takes you past lively bars, quiet restaurants and shops selling leather and other goods from the region.
The beaches are accessible, the promenades are wide and the town is welcoming. Whether you wish to while away your afternoons by sipping cocktails and people watching along the seafront, or your evenings by taking in the amazing Benidorm Circus next to Benidorm Palace, a disabled friendly holiday in Benidorm guarantees a great time when you’re there and a sense of feeling thoroughly refreshed upon your return home.
