Disabled Holidays in North Brabant
Wedged between Limburg and Zeeland, North Brabant or just Brabant, is well known for its nature and woodland and is sought after by those who enjoy the quiet. This is, however, contrasted with busy cities such as Breda, Tilburg and Eindhoven. Predominantly a catholic province, despite efforts to bring in protestantism after the reformation in the 16th and 17th century, Brabant's cities and towns are home to beautiful cathedrals, many of which are well preserved with detailed historical records.
Like in the rest of the Netherlands, English is widely spoken in Brabant and tours and excursions are often available in English. North Brabant also features the largest theme park in The Benelux, called 'De Efteling' and for those who like to take to the water, the national park 'De Biesbosch' offers beautiful boating trips.
