Accessible sailing trips - Quote Reference CR05

Accessible boats for you to enjoy sailing

With extra comfortable features such as special seats, pillows and foam rubber these boats are ideal for those with limited arm strength. The electric controls mean the boats can be controlled with just one finger - or even a chin.

For those with visual impairments, choose from a double boat with a sailor who’ll explain how the boat works and how to control it, then take the plunge (or not!) in a one person boat coached by walkie talkie from the shore or another boat alongside.

The boats and crew can accommodate you whatever your disability. Find your freedom sailing on the lake; enjoy the wind and water - you decide where you want to go sailing. You have complete independence.

These Access Dinghy boats have been thoroughly tested, can’t overturn and are extremely stable. Volunteers are also out on the water at the same time so you’re never alone. The volunteers are there to answer all your questions and provide assistance where necessary.

Life jackets are provided and transport can be arranged from your accommodation, should you require.
