Description
Two delightful stone-built, semi-detached barn conversions, situated on the owners' 30-acre sheep and cattle farm, in a rural position 1.5 miles from the village of Chwilog, just three miles from the seaside town of Criccieth and six miles from Pwllheli. Occupying a courtyard position these successfully converted barns combine original character features such as exposed timbers and purlins, lintels and stone, with modern facilities, offering a warm, welcoming and cosy retreat, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the mountain views. These lovely cottages can be booked individually, or larger groups could book the two cottages together for those special occasions when the whole family can get together and celebrate a special birthday or anniversary. Great care has been taken to ensure there is everything you need for a comfortable stay and a wonderful holiday. There is ample parking outside each cottage and each cottage has an enclosed courtyard garden and patio area at the rear for you to enjoy where you can read a good book or simply take in the scenery. There are numerous short walks from the cottages; visit St Cybi’s Well or enjoy a walk along the coastal path. Three miles away is Criccieth, well worth a visit; spend a day exploring its medieval castle, pebbled beach and array of shops. Porthmadog is only five miles away and has an impressive marina and is the terminus for the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Steam Railways.
