Sit back and relax with a stay at this beautiful barn conversion, situated in an idyllic Dorset Village and closeby to the seaside town of Weymouth, This old farm building has been carefully converted into a fantastic holiday home with families in mind. The barn consists of natural stone and wood flooring throughout and offers a taste of luxury.
The amazing architectural features continue into the sociable living area, with high vaulted ceiling and large picture windows framing the breathtaking views of Chesil Beach and on a clear day even to Lyme Bay.
You can enjoy these timeless views from the sunny south facing patio at the rear of the barn conversion, with outdoor seating and a fenced off lawned area for children to play. Once inside, the main living space is modern and stylish, with feature artwork and plenty of light. An 'L' shape sofa fills the living room, facing out - a perfect spot to sit and admire the view. Enjoy special times with family and friends around the sociable kitchen and dining space, complete with Sandyford cooker, modern kitchen appliances and large dining table and chairs offering plenty of space for entertaining.
All four bedrooms have been furnished to a very high standard and all benefit from access to their own allocated bathroom, on the ground floor is a twin bedroom, with two single beds along with bunk beds and an en-suite bathroom. Across the hallway is a double bedroom, with access to the ground floor bathroom just over the corridor, benefitting from walk in shower and suiting those with mobility requirements. Climb the sleek wooden staircase to two further bedrooms, one double en-suite and one double with adjacent bathroom. All of the bedrooms are well equipped with storage and hanging space for your holiday clothes.
Location
The village of Langton Herring is known for its picturesque, rural charm with a number of original thatched cottages from the 17th and 18th century and plenty of pretty gardens. The local village pub is just a short walk away, and serves a range of pub favourites along with local produce. Explore a little further and spend the day in the sea side town of Weymouth only a short drive away, enjoy fish and chips by the harbour, with an eclectic mix of independent coffee shops and galleries you can stroll the day away. Weymouth is known for its award winning sandy beach, independent restaurants and family friendly attractions such as The Nothe Fort, The Sea-Life Centre and Lodmoor Country Park to name a few.

Important please note: Wans Barton is located on a working arable farm and arable operations can be carried out at any time of day or night. In the summer months, the harvest may go on late into the night in the fields around Wans Barton. During the winter months, a game bird shoot operates on the farm. Please do not enter the fields around the property, unless using a designated and marked public footpath; they do no form part of the property and are on a working Farm.
