Description

This accessible holiday lodge is situated on a multi-award winning holiday park on the Cornish coastline overlooking the picture-postcard fishing village of Portreath.

The lodge is registered as NAS M3 Assisted Living standard. It has wheelchair access throughout the ground floor, where there is a stylish and contemporary twin bedroom with electric bed, a wet room style bathroom, a living / dining area and a wonderfully equipped kitchen.

Upstairs in this stunning disabled holiday accommodation, you will find a kingsize master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, a further bathroom and a twin bedroom, making the lodge completely ideal for people with disabilities who are travelling with other family members. As the main living area is all on the ground level, the M3 Assisted Living Lodge is also perfect if a member of your family struggles with stairs. The lodge enjoys its own sun deck with stylish furniture.

The lodge is situated close to the fishing village of Portreath and just a short car drive from the beach, where you can try your hand at one of the many outdoor activities on offer including surfing and kayaking. If you’re looking for a more relaxing break, why not spoil yourself with a beauty treatment, a swim in the indoor heated pool or relax in the Jacuzzi, steam room or sauna. The park restaurant offers spectacular views over the Atlantic making it the perfect setting for a leisurely lunch, an afternoon cream tea or a superb evening meal.

This accommodation holds the David Bellamy Gold Award for Conservation and is home to a farm where families and children can get up close and personal with nature. You can discover woodland safaris, feed and stroke the friendly foxes, fly magnificent falconry birds and much more.

NB: The walk to the park’s nearest beach (Portreath) is rather steep and therefore not easily accessible for wheelchair users or guests with limited mobility. The beach can be reached via a 5-minute drive from the park, and there is a car park right next to the beach.

Pets welcome, two maximum *must be advised at the time of booking

Please note:

The bed guards we use can be fitted onto any of our beds but they are primarily made for Children and are around a meter long so they would usually be placed in the centre of the bed.
