Description
Ideal for a peaceful and relaxing holiday retreat, this accommodation is also well-situated to explore many of Cornwall’s best and most famous features including the South West Coast Path which is less than 10 minutes’ walk away. Along the trail, you’ll find Boscastle, a traditional Cornish fishing village most famous for the day when it almost got swept into sea in a flood back in 2004. Now fully restored it makes for a great day out with its harbour walks and selection of good eateries. Guests will be a short drive from a host of long sandy surfing beaches, sheltered coves and picturesque fishing villages such as the famous Port Isaac, where the popular TV series Doc Martin is filmed. The region is teeming with a wealth of attractions to suit all tastes which include Tintagel with its legends of King Arthur and his knights of the round table, Launceston Steam Railway, the National Sea Life Aquarium and numerous National Trust properties and gardens to name but a few.
On first arrival at this compact yet airy single-storey detached barn conversion, found nestling at the front of a farmhouse, you will notice that the design embraces a cosy open plan layout. The lounge/kitchen/diner with comfy seating, a TV with Freeview and firestick, a hi-fi and a wood burner-effect electric fire to unwind with after a hard day of touring. The kitchen area comes complete with an electric oven and hob, a fridge with an ice box and a microwave. The bedroom consists of a super king-size. Nearby is a wet room-style shower room with WC. There is also a shared utility room with use of washing machine and tumble dryer is available.
Outside is a shared lawn and small patio area. Walkers can enjoy strolling the land or just simply relaxing on the shared lawn area and watch the fantastic sunsets at the property.
