The sleeping arrangements include a kingsize (5ft) bed in Bedroom 1 and two single (3ft) beds with a pull-out single (3ft) bed in Bedroom 2. A modern wet room offers a shower and toilet. The property includes oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi, and initial logs for the wood burner. Additional amenities include a cot, highchair, and an electric single bed available on request for flexible sleeping arrangements. Outside, guests can enjoy an enclosed garden with a courtyard, sitting-out area, garden furniture, barbecue, private parking for two cars, and a hot tub. Stabling is also available. Area information
The cottage is ideally situated to take advantage of some of the most stunning parts of Suffolk. The traditional market town of Framlingham is only 5 miles away, known for its Norman castle and wealth of historic buildings. Within an easy drive is Suffolk’s heritage coast with it’s beaches, ancient towns, villages and country houses. Aldeburgh, Walberswick, Southwold and Orford to mention a few, are well worth a visit. All offer something different from the finest fish and chips to an award winning smoke house, quaint beach huts and even works of art on the beach. For music lovers there is a world class concert hall at Snape Maltings, plus a unique shopping experience and the opportunity to take a river trip along the picturesque River Alde. For the outdoor enthusiasts there are miles of quiet country roads to cycle along, horse riding, golf and numerous footpaths to explore. The RSPB reserve at Minsmere is a must for bird lovers, as is Dunwich Heath with it’s wealth of wildlife. Rendlesham and Tunstall forests offer great walking and cycling opportunities or just a chance to relax with a picnic. For the foodies Suffolk is also awash with great places to eat, offering amazing local food in beautiful country settings.
