This annex accessible apartment which is situated within the grounds of the stunning Grade II listed building. The property has two twin bedrooms, both served by a wet room, and there is a spacious open-plan living space. The property is fully accessible and has parking directly outside the front door, making it the ideal choice for the less mobile. The hall dates back to 1600 by lawyer George Fell. After his death, it was passed down to his son, Judge Thomas Fell, and his wife, Margaret. The  Hall was visited by the founder of the Quaker movement, George Fox, in 1652. After Thomas Fell’s death, George wed Margaret Fell, and he stayed at the hall intermittently throughout his life.

 

The hall is located only 2 miles away from the coast and just over a mile away from the thriving town of Ulverston, which has a host of fantastic local restaurants, public houses, shops and an indoor market. Stunning Coniston Water is only 13 miles away where you can spend a day lazing around the water. Or perhaps take a steam train from nearby Haverthwaite station to the bottom of Lake Windermere and go for a wander around the aquarium. Beach 3 miles. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant 300 yards.
