Description

This characterful former grain store has been lovingly converted into a spacious Eco barn, combining traditional oak beams and original features with modern comforts. Situated in a peaceful rural setting overlooking Brandy Brook and Roch Castle, the cottage is surrounded by 22 acres of private grounds, with plenty of space to relax and explore.

The property sleeps up to 6 guests across three bedrooms, with a ground-floor double bedroom and twin bedroom, alongside a further double bedroom upstairs. The open-plan living, dining and kitchen area features a striking double-height ceiling, while a log burner creates a cosy atmosphere. Newgale Sands is just 4 miles away, making this a great base for discovering Pembrokeshire's beaches, countryside and attractions.

Room specifications

The cottage sleeps up to 6 guests in three bedrooms: two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom. There is a ground-floor double bedroom with patio access and a ground-floor twin bedroom, with a further double bedroom upstairs.

The ground floor has level access, with ramp access to the front entrance and level access through the rear. Entrance doors are 900mm wide, with other internal doors and passageways measuring between 800mm and 900mm.

The ground-floor double bed is 540mm high, with 800mm clearance on the door side, 500mm at the foot of the bed and 500mm on the opposite side. The twin beds are 450mm high, with 700mm clearance between them.

There is a bathroom on each floor. The ground-floor bathroom has step-free access to the shower, a grab rail and a shower seat available on request. However, access to the shower is narrow, measuring just 460mm between the bath and basin. The toilet is 430mm high and the wash basin is 830mm high, with 200mm clear space underneath.

Facilities

Outside, the cottage has a large private patio with lighting, a power socket, garden furniture and a BBQ. Guests can also enjoy extensive lawns, a children's playground, wildlife pond, fields and woodland within the 22-acre grounds.

There is a hard-surfaced car park with a level access pathway to the property. Carers or assistants can be accommodated, with arrangements available for guests bringing their own carers or requiring a care agency.

Room amenities

The spacious open-plan living, dining and kitchen area features a double-height ceiling, traditional oak beams and a log burner. The lounge has a digital TV, DVD player and audio system with an iPod dock.

The fully equipped kitchen includes a hob, worktop and sink positioned 900mm above floor level, along with a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and freezer. There is also a dining area for guests to enjoy meals together.

Area information
