This cottage is one of five cosy, mews-style, single-storey cottages with stunning views of the Sussex countryside. The cottage is self-contained, fully-furnished, with a fully-equipped kitchen, and is ideal for families or couples wanting to holiday together yet still retain some independence. The patio doors from this cottage open onto a picturesque decking area with garden furniture, perfect for a morning coffee or afternoon tea.

The cottage is within 2 miles of Nutley village, which has restaurants and small shops, and the nearby town of Uckfield, with larger shops, pubs and amenities, including a cinema and indoor pool. This property is also only a short distance from the south coast, with the seaside resorts of Brighton and Eastbourne both less than an hour’s drive away.

Outside: This cottage is set within the enclosed grounds which has its own Nature Trail, 11 acres of rolling pasture and forest, comfortable outside seating areas, picnic tables and children’s play equipment. There are also resident sheep and chickens.

Amenities: Ample parking on the site. Bed linen, towels, WIFI and electric and central heating included. No smoking in the cottages. Pets welcome, but dogs must be kept on a lead in the communal cottage areas, and when the sheep are in the field.

Wet Room: Flat level with a fold down shower seat with movable arms, a perching shower stool is available on request, this must to advised at the time of booking.

This single-storey cottage has an entrance hall with the two bedrooms leading off either side. These can be made up as twin or double rooms to suit requirements. Further down the corridor is the bathroom/wet room with shower and WC. There is a lounge/diner – large open-plan room with TV, DVD, WIFI. Stunning views of the countryside from patio doors. Kitchen: with fridge, electric cooker, induction hob, washing machine, microwave, kettle, ironing board and iron, and cutlery/cooking utensils. Outside: Patio/seating area with garden furniture.

Nutley is a village on the A22 about a mile from the cottages. It has two excellent restaurants (Italian and Indian), a convenience store, petrol garage . There is a lovely country pub called the Foresters In Fairwarp a 5 minute drive from the site and Uckfield Town centre is just 5 miles away with a plethora of shops, cafes and two major supermarkets and a cinema.

There are lots of things to see and do within a 40 minute drive of the site including Brighton and Eastbourne seafronts, and a variety of historical towns and national Trust venues.
