This beautiful cottage sits deep in 30 acres of unspoilt, beautiful Devon farmland at the foot of the Blackdown Hills. The cottage has been lovingly restored and makes a wonderful home from home for your family holiday in the heart of Mid-Devon’s picturesque countryside.

The accommodation has threshold-free flagstone floors throughout the ground floor, stunning oak beams and is furnished with beautiful beds and ample furniture. Relax in front of the TV, get online or cook up a feast in the well-equipped kitchen. There’s also plenty of communal space around the farm including a heated indoor swimming pool to keep the kids entertained without the need for travelling, a games room stocked with plenty of games and toys along with pool, table football and table tennis. There is ample outdoor space in which to kick a ball around or take the dogs for a well deserved walk. Swallow has a private gated patio with easy access to the car park and also a ramp leading to the deck and communal conservatory overlooking the duck pond. Besides Swallow Barn, Halsbeer Farm has three further self-catering properties, two of which also have accessible ground floor rooms. In total the complex can sleep up to 22. The conservatory can be laid out to seat up to that number for dinner and is a great sun trap. In the evening why not light the conservatory wood-burner for a little extra comfort and simply relax with a good book.
