Great musicians as Ella Fitzgerald, Oscar Peterson, Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, B.B. King, Ray Charles, Diana Krall, Van Morrison, Liza Minnelli y Keith Jarrett, Bob Dylan, Celia Cruz, among many other great figures step out on this annual exciting event. Donostia-San Sebastián Musical Fortnight - It began in 1939 as fruits of the entrepreneurship and zest of the city innkeepers and merchants —in the same way that the International Film Festival was to be launched some years later— willing to enrich the tourism offer over the summer season. To this end they took the baton of the ancient musical tradition already existing in the city from the end of the 19th century and early in the 20th: the foundation of the Orfeón Donostiarra, the Grand Casino orchestras, the great European artists who sought refuge against the Second World War in the Victoria Eugenia Theatre.

Chillida Museum -  Zabalaga is not only a Museum designed to exhibit works of art, but is also another sculpture by Chillida, just like "Elogio del horizonte" in Gijón or his project on Mount Tindaya in Fuerteventura.

The country house which houses the collection is located 5 km from San Sebastián, on the border with Hernani. Inside the country house there is a major selection of 110 small format works in different materials such as alabaster, granite, iron, plaster, etc., as well as murals, collages, and so on. Zabalaga, which has a 12-hectare garden with magnificent wooded areas, has been converted into an open-air Museum to exhibit the collection kept for many years by Chillida himself so that it could be viewed in the area where he was born.

Visit the Bilbao Guggenheim Museum - The Guggenheim Museum Bilbao is a museum of modern and contemporary art, designed by Canadian-American architect Frank Gehry, and located in Bilbao, Basque Country, Spain. One of the most admired works of contemporary architecture, the building has been hailed as a "signal moment in the architectural culture", because it represents "one of those rare moments when critics, academics, and the general public were all completely united about something."

Balenciaga Museum - The Cristóbal Balenciaga Museum develops an ambitious programme of exhibits and events aimed at raising the profile of Cristóbal Balenciaga, highlighting his important role in the history of fashion and design, and his legacy on today's world of fashion. To this end, the Museum has designed a permanent exhibition to help visitors discover the keys to Balenciaga's work. “He is the only true couturier among us”

San Telmo Museum - The object of reflection that San Telmo presents is the cultural and historical past as a seed for today's society, from a multi-disciplinary view, open to modern dialogue and debate. The museum constitutes the memory for future generations and it is responsible for safeguarding and making citizens aware of the wealth of heritage that it holds so that everyone can enjoy and make use of it. San Telmo assumes the responsibility of preserving, completing and increasing collections representing the history and evolution of Basque society.
San Telmo is presented as a museum and, at the same time, a place to both disseminate knowledge and create thought whilst aiming to be an instrument to understand the present and build the future from knowledge of the past.
