Accessible Cornish lodges

These two accessible lodges are located close to the Cornish seaside village of Portreath, in an award-winning luxury holiday resort that puts on a full Christmas programme for the whole family.

Welcoming you with their own elegantly decorated Christmas tree, these Scandinavian-style lodges really come into their own at winter, with a homely feeling perfect for spending quality family time together.

The resort excites with numerous events over Christmas, including a Christmas fair with stalls selling unique gifts, mulled wine and hot chocolate; Winter Wildlife Walks that introduce guests to the local animals; and a children’s Christmas party with music and entertainment.

On Christmas Day, guests can enjoy sumptuous meals, including a three-course Christmas Day carvery and a four-course Christmas lunch.

You can even pop by to meet Santa and his reindeer Nadelik and Lowen (“Merry” and “Christmas” in Cornish) in their grotto and have your photo taken in their sleigh – a truly magical experience for kids young and old.

There’s lots going on in Cornwall this time of year too. You can go ice-skating at the Eden Project, see the magical illuminations and floating displays at Molehouse Harbour, explore the famous Fowey Christmas market, pay a visit to the elves at Trebah Gardens – and much more.

Luxury assisted living lodges

These holiday lodges are registered as NAS M3 Assisted Living standard. They have wheelchair access throughout the ground floor, which encompasses a stylish and contemporary twin bedroom with an electric bed, a wet-room-style bathroom, a living and dining area and a well-equipped kitchen.

Upstairs, you’ll find a kingsize master bedroom with en suite bathroom, a further bathroom and a twin bedroom, making these holiday lodges ideal for people with disabilities who are travelling with other family members.

As the main living area is all on the ground level, the M3 Assisted Living Lodges are also perfect if a member of your family struggles with stairs. The lodges all enjoy their own sundeck with stylish furniture.
