Description
Set in two acres of gardens and grounds within the spectacular scenery of Highland Perthshire, this wheelchair-accessible lodge provides lovely views over the Tay Valley and mountains beyond.
The accommodation is one of four onsite lodges, located just off the A9, midway between Pitlochry and Dunkeld. The site is the ideal base for families and small groups looking for self-catering accommodation to enjoy a short break, activity break or holiday in wonderful Perthshire scenery.
The lodge has two twin bedded rooms, one single room, one double room, two shower rooms and an open-plan kitchen/dining/living area.
Adapted to provide fully accessible wheelchair-friendly accommodation, the property includes smooth, paved access from the disabled parking bays, an extra-wide front door, an open-plan living and dining area, a fully wheelchair-accessible wet room with support bars and rails and fold-down wall-mounted shower stool and an extra-wide door to one of the four bedrooms.
The front patio with glorious views is also fully accessible to wheelchair users.
Location
The area around the lodge has walks for all abilities, be it a short stroll before dinner or a hike up the hills, while cyclists can enjoy several different routes, with bike hire available from the excellent Escape Route in Pitlochry.
Golfers are also well catered for, with Pitlochry, Dunkeld and nearby Blairgowrie all having excellent golf courses, while the world-renowned Gleneagles is just a short drive away.
For those looking for more of an adrenalin rush, Perthshire is the outdoor adventure capital of Scotland, offering a fantastic range of exciting outdoor activities, such as whitewater rafting, quad biking, bungee jumping, canyoning and clay pigeon shooting, all of which are close by.
Further local attractions include Edradour Distillery, one of Scotland’s most unique whisky producers; Pitlochry Theatre, with its year-round programme of thrilling performances; and Pitlochry Dam and Fish Ladder, where guests can learn about the history of hydro-electric power and enjoy watching salmon leap upstream during the breeding season.
If it is a little retail therapy you are looking for, then this lodge is perfectly situated between the bustling towns of Pitlochry and Dunkeld where there are lovely shops. While the House of Bruar is just a 20 minute drive North.

All bed linen and hand towels in each bathroom and all utilities are included in the cost of the lodge. The lodge is dog friendly and welcomes guests who may wish to bring along one well-behaved dog (£25 per stay).
