The cottage is located in Geldeston, a small but charming village near the Norfolk and Suffolk border. The village boasts two family-run pubs serving fresh food daily, one of which is on the riverbank and where you will find an extensive gin menu and entertainment throughout the summer months. There is also a local farm shop for all your essentials.

You are extremely close to the River Waveney, and from here you can hire canoes to explore this incredible southern network of rivers in the Norfolk Broads National Park. The area is a walker’s and nature lover’s paradise with fantastic walks surrounding you. It is located close to Beccles, a glorious market town with independent stores and boutiques, along with Lowestoft with its sandy beaches, Southwold with its famous pier and beach huts, and of course Norwich, a fine city for history, heritage and culture.
