Description

Situated just above Torquay’s seafront this beautiful detached property is perfect for families to holiday together or for friends to get together. There is a lovely lawned area ideal for sitting out on a sunny day, and each bedroom is of a good size. There is also an annexe connected to the property, making this perfect for large groups.

Famous for its sandy beaches, piers, palm trees and plentiful attractions, the popular seaside town of Torquay in South Devon has been attracting visitors for the best part of 200 years. The location is a mere 500 yards from Torquay’s sandy beach, and is close to all amenities, including shops, bars, restaurants and a theatre. Rock Walk is also close by a lovely walk which is lit up at night. Torquay holds many delights, including children’s activities whatever the weather to coastal walks.

Take a trip to Dartmoor and climb the Tors or have a cream tea in one of the many cafés. Sail over to Brixham from the pier in Torquay, which is a lovely day out, and going by boat there are no traffic jams. Take a journey on the steam railway and go as far as Dartmouth, where you can see the Naval College or visit the castle. If you want some retail therapy, there are many shops to visit, or sit and while away the hours in one of the many cafés/restaurants Dartmouth has to offer. Visit Agatha Christie’s summer house, Greenway, as well as many other National Trust properties in the area.

For family day outs, visit Paignton Zoo, where you can see the elephants and ride the small railway, or explore Living Coasts, where the penguins wander freely. Other attractions include Kent’s Cavern, where you can venture underground through a fascinating labyrinth of prehistoric caves, and Go Ape at Haldon, where you can climb through the trees. Sailing, fishing, hiking and indoor swimming pools are also all within easy reach. Beach 500 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.
