Designed by Lauren Rottet of Rottet Studio, the hotel serves as a modern tribute to the Royal Palm Hotel's rich history, keeping intact many signature elements of the original architect's design. The compass rose on the terrazzo lobby floor, artistically-inspired, green glass front desk and porthole windows in the lobby lounge will be preserved and restored. Each guestroom will offer complimentary, triple-distilled water, 24-hour in-room dining, 24-hour concierge and WiFi. Strategically-placed and intelligently-designed features such as mounted mirrors walls create an in-room, ocean view vantage point, while patterned, wooden headboards extend the length of the walls to create a dining and work niche.

The interior color palate and finishes reflect the space's beach scenery with the use of reclaimed woods, natural linens and fibers and shades of pale greens and blues and creamy whites.

The beach retreat will feature two swimming pools, poolside bar, lobby lounge, full-service spa with salt-infused treatments, Lil' James Offerings for children, retail shop offering carefully curated items and more than 10,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space. Guests will enjoy two dining options including signature restaurant Florida Cookery; featuring hyper-regional Florida Fare led by local Miami Chef Kris Wessel, and CATCH; a globally-influenced seafood restaurant, as well as a coffee bar.
