Tour Summary
Beautiful Yorkshire beaches, atmospheric medieval streets, and bustling seafront promenades and arcades - discover the delights of the Yorkshire coast with our disabled-friendly Scarborough, Whitby and York Tour.
Immortalised in one of the UK’s most famous folk standards, Scarborough is Yorkshire’s largest coastal resort and an excellent base from which to explore the surrounding region. With its two crescent beaches, lively promenade and ruined 11th Century castle, it’s an iconic destination for holidaymakers looking to enjoy a traditional British beach getaway.
Further up the coast, picture-perfect Whitby offers a fascinating insight into the area’s maritime history, while also serving up some of the best fish and chips in the country and playing home to Whitby Abbey, the spooky inspiration for Dracula’s castle.
Your fully accessible Limitless holiday will also include a day in York - the county’s historic capital and a powerful and influential city throughout much of English history. You’ll experience this history first-hand as we wander the city’s medieval streets, see its Roman city walls and marvel at York Minster, one of the world’s most remarkable cathedrals.
Throughout the holiday, we’ll be visiting some of the area’s most popular attractions, including the Scarborough Fair Collection, with its vintage rides and attractions, and York’s National Railway Museum, where you’ll enjoy an afternoon tea aboard a restored train. On your final day, we’ll cruise the River Ouse, taking in York’s city sights from the water.
Your Yorkshire hotel has been hand-picked by the Limitless Team for its superb location and excellent disabled facilities. A Limitless Travel representative will accompany the tour group throughout the holiday, providing assistance whenever required and ensuring you receive the support you need.
