Princess makes every effort to accommodate passengers with disabilities, but you can ensure a successful trip by working with the regulations in advance.

Boarding
Gangways are wide enough to accommodate most wheelchairs and scooters.
Restrooms
There are accessible public restrooms available throughout the ship.
Decks
All decks have elevator access.
Food & Beverage
All dining and bar venues offer wheelchair seating.

Mobility devices of any kind, like any other items, may not be left outside the stateroom. Because of staffing limitations, we recommend you be accompanied by someone who is physically able to assist you both onboard and on shore.

Please note Not all port facilities are accessible for those using mobility devices. Ports may be accessed by a variety of methods including a ramped gangway, series of steps or by tender. Most vessels feature access friendly design for wheelchair users to enjoy the restaurants, theaters, spas, lounges and open deck space. Elevators have generous doorways, and wheelchair seating is available in show lounges and other public spaces.

Visually Impaired and Hard of Hearing Disabilities

• Guests with visual / audio disabilities will find ships equipped with features such as:
• Braille elevator call buttons
• Audible arrival sounds
• Infrared listening assistance systems in the Princess theaters.
• In-cabin movies feature close captioning
• Ship libraries feature a selection of books on tape

• Service animals are welcome including seeing-eye dogs and hearing-assistance dogs

  Excursions

  Most Princess vessels have special gangway mechanisms to make embarkation and disembarkation easier for wheelchair passengers. As onshore levels of access vary, Princess is working with local service providers to improve accessibility. Please call us for details of accessible excursions on your preferred cruise destinations.

  Are you fit and well? - For your own sake, and for the comfort of other passengers, you must be fit and healthy to travel with Princess cruise line. Naturally there is a well equipped Medical Centre on every Princess Cruises ship, but the medical facilities aren't designed for extensive or continuing treatment of pre-existing conditions.
