The hotel is situated on the seafront at Eastbourne. It enjoys a stunning view of the sea and to the right, the cliffs and Beachy Head. It is located a 1 Km walk along the seafront to Eastbourne Pier. Beyond the town, there is magnificent walking, both coastal and inland on the rolling South Downs. The property is an elegant Victorian building, dating back to 1875. The hotel features both an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, a health spa with a sauna and steam room, a gym and treatment rooms offering massages, manicures and spa treatments.

Rooms are beautifully decorated in a traditional style with elegant furniture, in keeping with the character of the hotel. There are two restaurants at the hotel; Mirabella and the Garden Restaurant. The Garden Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in graceful surroundings. It offers traditional English cuisine with a modern interpretation. The Mirabelle Restaurant serves lunch and dinner in warm and intimate surroundings and has won accolades including two red AA rosettes.

In addition the hotel’s elegant lounge has a lounge menu, where light dishes and deserts are served. Afternoon tea is also served here. Advance booking for both restaurants is essential and gentlemen are requested to wear a jacket or tie for dinner. A special children’s high tea is available. The hotel provides superb children’s facilities. Kids (aged 3 – 12) staying at the hotel can enjoy a children’s rucksack with a selection of goodies, complimentary milk and cookie on turndown, board games for use during stay and use of the playroom with qualified staff during weekends and school holidays.
