The largest of our self-catering holiday cottages, this exceptionally large cottage is detached, luxurious, stone-built, and has seven bedrooms, six of which are en suite, making it especially suitable for groups couples and large families. It offers superb self-catering holiday cottage accommodation in the Forest of Bowland, convenient for Blackpool and Lancaster, and within easy travelling of the Yorkshire Dales, Cumbria and the Lake District.

The cottage has underfloor heating, finished with lovely tiled floors, rugs, contemporary furnishings and decorations.

The ground floor comprises a fantastic open-plan living area with comfy sofas, a magnificent stone fireplace with a wood-burning stove, Sky television, a dining table seating 14, a superb designer kitchen with AGA stove, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, wine cooler, and granite work surfaces. A new addition in 2012 is a fantastic conservatory / garden room. To the left of the hallway are two spacious bedrooms. The first is a twin bedroom with an en suite wet room, and the second has a double and a single bed and an en suite wet room. There is also a cloakroom with toilet and wash basin, plus a utilility area with washing machine and tumble dryer. The first floor comprises two double en suite bedrooms, one twin en suite, one double plus single en suite, and one single room.

To the rear of the cottage is a raised decked area, looking out into woodland with outdoor dining furniture and a private garden where you will see and hear the resident woodpeckers! Creating an ideal spot in which to enjoy the afternoon sun and sunsets, we have also added a new covered outdoor seating area at the side of the cottage, which offers great views across to the coast and towards the Lake District.

These cottages are beautifully located for a self-catering cottage holiday in Lancashire, with lots to do right on the doorstep, yet with easy access to the M6. Blackpool and Lancaster are nearby, and the Yorkshire Dales, Cumbria and the Lake District are all within easy travelling for days out.
