This gorgeous hotel, golf and spa resort is the only five AA red star hotel in the North of England. Located within the picturesque County Durham countryside, in the village of Hurworth, it is the perfect luxury country retreat for relaxing and enjoying your time away from home.
Room specifications
The hotel has 61 luxury guest bedrooms, some of which offer disabled access and facilities. All of the bedrooms are big on space, big on comfort, and big on little luxuries to ensure that you have everything you need to relax and enjoy your time. Accessible bedrooms feature support rails, fully tiled showered wet room with support rails and a pull cord, and all mirrors and sinks are lowered to enable ease of access.
All of the accessible bedrooms are located in the main hotel building, making resort facilities including spa, restaurants and gardens readily accessible.

• Award winning spa featuring 20 metre swimming pool, hydrotherapy pool and heat treatment suites
- There is access to the spa for wheelchair users, there is an accessible changing room, however there is no form of lift for in and out of our pool facilities, you would need to have someone to aid as the staff are not able to assist with lifting in and out of pool areas.

The hotel is situated within a beautiful 375 acre country estate and features an award-winning spa, championship golf course and three bespoke dining experiences, offering something for all guests to enjoy. If you want to get out of the hotel and enjoy the charms of the local area, there are stunning market towns of Northallerton and Yarm just a short drive away. Darlington Railway Station is also just a five minute drive away and allows easy access to destinations such as Durham, York and Newcastle.
