Description

This is a luxurious privately owned country house just 20 miles south of Edinburgh. Offering a setting where guests can relax escape the busy city life to explore the Tweed Valley and the Scottish Borders. All the public rooms such as the Lounge and Library, have welcoming log fires and fine views of the surrounding countryside and estate. The 13 bedrooms and suites have their own history and character, furnished to the highest of standards reflecting the tones and colours of the Scottish Borders countryside and landscape. Each room offering exceptional views of the grounds and countryside. In addition to the normal facilities expected from a quality four star hotel such as trouser press, hospitality tray, all rooms have wall mounted flat screen television, high speed internet access as well as fruit and mineral water for your arrival.

Scotland is famous for the quality of its produce and the food served here in the 2 Rosette Sutherland Restaurant is inspired by the excellence and abundance of the local Scottish produce. With native Scottish flair, the Head Chef and his award-winning kitchen team create quality, contemporary cuisine that changes with the seasons. There are also a selection of private suites which can be used for group and family dining on special occasions.

Guests to Cringletie House Hotel can also take advantage of the staff's local knowledge and a wide range of activities which can be arranged on the grounds or local to the hotel such as mountain biking, fishing, golfing, horse riding and walking tours.
