Description

Nestled in the serene, open landscape of the Norfolk Fens, Thorpland Manor Farm offers visitors a tranquil rural retreat, complete with a range of shared amenities, including a heated outdoor swimming pool. The seven cottages have been beautifully and thoughtfully converted from impressive farm buildings, maintaining traditional features such as beamed interiors, while ensuring the highest level of comfort. Located near the owners' 17th-century farmhouse on a working farm, each cottage features its own private sitting area and access to the farm grounds. Here, guests can enjoy coarse fishing and farm walks, making it an ideal place to relax and unwind. Additional facilities like a sauna, hot tub, and games room further enhance the enjoyable atmosphere.

 

Room specifications

This property features a ground floor with a living/dining room equipped with a Freeview TV and DVD player, as well as a fully-equipped kitchen with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer. Bedroom 1 contains two single (3ft) beds, and there is a wet room with a bath, shower, toilet, shower seat, and grab rail. On the first floor, you'll find Bedroom 2 with a double (4ft 6in) bed and Bedroom 3 with two single (3ft) beds. There is also a shower room with a cubicle shower and toilet. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels, and Wi-Fi are all included, along with a cot and highchair. Outside, there's a courtyard patio with garden furniture and a barbecue, as well as parking. Additional amenities include fishing, a shared outdoor heated swimming pool (8.5m x 4.2m) available from May to September, a hot tub and sauna (shared), a games room with a pool table and table football (shared), and a children's play area with a wooden tower, swings, and slides. The property also offers wheelchair access with additional disabled facilities. No smoking is permitted.
