Description
Standing peacefully at the edge of the village of Rillington, this wheelchair-accessible cottage offers the chance to explore Yorkshire’s coastal towns.
The cottage is housed in an 18th-century former barn, which has been skilfully converted into two holiday properties, each retaining many original features. The cottages have an inter-connecting door and can be booked individually or as one, sleeping up to 13 guests. Both properties are heated with renewable energy and enjoy underfloor heating throughout.
Local attractions include Flamingo Land, Eden Camp and Scampston Hall. On the coast lie the towns of Scarborough and Whitby. York, with its magnificent Minster and cobbled streets, is a 30-minute drive. Shop and pub 300 yards.
