Description
Nestled in a peaceful location with panoramic views over the countryside and Nith Estuary, these detached, single-storey holiday cottages each have their own garden and are furnished and equipped to the STB’s '4 Star' standard. Conheath Gatelodge is a charming and cosy Georgian cottage, retaining many original features, while Martha’s Shore Cottage offers breathtaking views over the Solway Estuary and was originally a fisherman’s cottage dating back to 1700. The cottage was home to generations of Martha’s artistic family, with her father serving as the stone mason for the farm estate, cutting stone for the owner’s farmhouse.
