Description
Located on Haven's recently upgraded Kent Coast park (formerly Allhallows Leisure Park) this wheelchair accessible caravan is perfect for a getaway to explore Kent and surrounding areas, the site is approximately one hours drive from London and features lots of activities including a fishing lake.
The caravan features a veranda with sun loungers and has a limited view of the estuary. The caravan is accessible via a ramp. Throughout the caravan the doors are widened to 32 inches. The bathroom is a wheel-in-wet room with grab rails and there is a choice of a wheeled shower chair or stool. There are 2 twin bedrooms, one of which is accessible with a profiling bed and mobile hoist. Please note the hoist can only be used in the bedroom and lounge - not in the bathroom. The lounge features a sofa bed which is a small double (4ft). The caravan is on a slight incline.

The park features an array of places to eat out including a Burger king 'walk-through' pod, bar and restaurant, yacht club with outdoor terrace, Papa John's Pizza, Cooks fish & chips, Seaside treats stand a Box bar and a Weatherspoon's Pub where food can be purchased.
Accessibility: The park is mainly flat with a couple of the areas which are slightly hilly. The park is suitable for pushchairs.There's disabled access to reception and all venues are accessible through our main complex entrance only. There is level access throughout all of the venues.
Pool access:A pool hoist and sling with attendant is available for the main indoor pool only, the indoor pool also has ladder steps. There is a slope for the outdoor pool.

Area information
Kent has many attractions including Upnor Castle, a spectacular Elizabethan fort by a riverside village. Herne Bay is a lovely seaside village. Wildlife and nature reserves, theme parks, lots of castles, cathedrals and cafes.
Accessible attractions nearby include The historic dockyard Chatham, a pottery & painting art studio called 'This art of mine' in Thurnham and Rochester Guildhall Museum.
