Description
Nestled among orange and lemon groves you will find this serene villa. The villa is in the perfect location, away from the hustle and bustle yet only a 5-minute drive from the typically Spanish town of Vera. The villa is a 10-minute drive from a 25 kilometre stretch of beautiful beaches.
This charming villa has been resorted to a high standard and compromises of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room and kitchen area and a large chill out room. The villa has its own driveway, private pool within a gated garden. The owners also live on the estate, with their own entrances and driveway. The owners are around to provide any help if necessary but also appreciate you having your own privacy.
The villa is perfect for groups of friends or families and the villa has been adapted for wheelchair users. Access from the car parking area to the garden and villa is along a flat paved walkway and access to the chill-out room is via a 1:12 ratio ramp. One of the shower rooms has an extra wide sliding door, wheel in shower and the ground floor bedroom also has extra wide sliding doors. Access around the villa and to the pool is along a paved path. Please note that adapted transport can be organized and we can arrange to hire additional equipment.
Inside the accommodation there is a large flat screen TV with an extensive DVD library and a selection of board games and books for both adults and children.
Outside there is a gas BBQ, a charcoal or wood BBQ as well as a Paella gas tripod. There is also a separate children´s play area which sits next to the full-size beach tennis or volley ball court and the table tennis room. There is also a touch tennis court and plenty of room to enjoy a game of Petanque (Boules)

Location and Surrounding Area
Located in eastern Andalucia, in Southern Spain, Almeria is known for it’s sandy beaches, beautiful marinas, fishing ports, coastal resorts, mountains, Andalucían towns and villages as well as championship quality golfing venues, the area has much to offer the holidaymaker. Despite this, much of the region lies unspoilt by mass tourism, protected from over -development thus retaining its natural beauty.
One of the main reasons people visit the area around Vera is to discover the very many beaches which, for most of the year can be virtually deserted and even in the height of the summer never reach the over-crowding seen in some of the other Spanish resorts. Beachside parking is abundant and mostly free. There are beaches to suit everyone from gently sloping sandy beaches to hidden away rugged rocky coves. A lot, but not all, have small bars and toilets. Vera is pleased to offer many beaches with access and assistance for wheelchair users. Some of the more popular beaches also offer free childrens play care facilities.
Within a short drive of the villa, you will come across winding, narrow streets and whitewashed houses typical of Andalucía. On the sea front of the fishing port of Garrucha you’ll find a busy marina and a selection of the finest fish restaurants in the province.
A little further along the coast is the Cabo de Gata National Park, declared a biosphere reserve by UNESCO, featuring abundant flora and fauna. This is a dramatic landscape with remote areas, desert terrain and a simple way of life. The secluded coves and clear, sparkling sea make this a beautiful setting to enjoy kayaking, sailing and diving.
The nearest town Vera
Just a couple of kilometres from the villa, Vera is a small, walled, renaissance town located in the Levante of Almeria in Andalucían and just minutes from the coast .
Vera has retained the character and traditions of a typical spanish town, a great place to relax and enjoy the more leisurely pace of life
There are several buildings of architectural interest, the main Plaza Mayor (square) houses the 15th century Church de la Encarnación, The Ayuntamiento de Vera (Vera town hall) was built in the 16th century, here you will find the Ethnographic and Archaeological Museum which tells the history and folklore of Vera and its surrounding areas
Vera has a mix of shops, cafés and restaurants to suit all tastes Saturday is market day where you can buy anything from a frying pan to beautiful rugs, handbags, shoes and much more.
