The most famous of the Canaries’ many islands, Tenerife benefits from a unique, Spanish-influenced culture, spectacular, year-round sun and some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Famed for its lively coastal resorts and volcanic landscapes, the island’s just as suited to happy-go-lucky party animals as it is nature lovers and culture vultures.

At the heart of the island sits the snow-capped Mount Teide, a 3,715-metre volcano that’s the most visited natural wonder in Spain. From there, rugged mountainsides fall into verdant valleys and the landscape spreads out, folding in on itself to conceal sleepy villages, before finally flattening out towards the coast.

Which is where you’ll find some of the island’s most well-known towns and beaches. From the tourist-orientated Playa de las Americas to the laid back streets and sun-soaked plazas of Puerto de la Cruz, you’ll find Tenerife boasts cities, towns and resorts to suit every taste.

Your accessible holiday will feature plenty of time to relax and unwind beside one of your hotel’s three accessible pools or down at the beach. They’ll also be several optional excursions for you to enjoy if you feel like getting out and exploring the island. As well as being able to give accessible paragliding a go, taking to the water for dolphin and whale watching and catching an authentic flamenco performance, the Limitless Team will show you the island’s best beaches, markets and restaurants, so you’re able to make the most of your stay.

Transport

All of our transportation vehicles are 100% accessible for wheelchair users. They are fitted with either a ramp or a hydraulic lift, and wheelchairs can be clamped into place, meaning there is no need to transfer out of your wheelchair. Travellers who would prefer to use the ramp or lift who are not in a wheelchair are, of course, welcome to do so.
