Adapted Lake Lodge in Helston

Located within the grounds of a large lake in the southwest of Cornwall you will find this superb property. During your stay you can make the most of the onsite water sports centre which caters to all different types of ability.

The property itself is suitable for families, groups of friends and can function to be an accessible holiday home with plenty of mobility equipment available to those who need it. The property has been meticulously designed with extra wide doorways, maximum room space, large sliding doors and the ability to bring in specialised equipment.

This is a brand-new holiday home with beautiful views of the glistening lake and is in a prime location within the park.

Once you step into the accommodation you will be met with a high vaulted ceiling and glassed wall which allows the light to beam through and opens out onto the huge, decked area complete with a hot tub.

There is an open plan living area which is spacious and beautifully furnished, the kitchen has been fully equipped with all the amenities you need including a kitchen work top which can be raised or lowered in height.

The first bedroom located at the far end of the property can be made into luxury twin beds or a super king-sized double bed and comes with its own ensuite. This room can have an electric profiling bed and a fully integrated ceiling track hoist can be provided for you to move between the bedroom and bathroom with ease.

Next to this bedroom is bedroom number two and again this can be made up as a double or twin and is the perfect room to act as the carers room.

On the other side of the living room, you will find bedroom three which has a view onto the decked outside area and a separate wet room. Bedroom three can also be made up as a double or twin.

This lodge is in the prime position on the park, located just above the lake giving you a degree of privacy but still close enough to be a part of the action. The shore is just a short walk away or guests can go in the open-air lift, this is where all the fun-filled activities take place.

On site there is a café where you can enjoy a spot of lunch.

The Lake, formerly a serpentine quarry, offers a 10-acre expanse of idyllic, sheltered water on an enclosed site – big enough to provide challenging activities, but safe enough for independent exploration. Making it the perfect place for fuelling children’s imaginations.

Watersports on site

The vision of the site is to create a facility where children and young people of all abilities can enjoy watersports. The professional instructors are there to ensure that the watersports are inclusive, specially equipped and accessible to all.

During your stay you will most likely spend most of your day taking part in paddlesports and other fun events. Six weeks before you are due to arrive the team on site will be in contact to offer you a 15% discount on the watersports and discuss a bespoke service to suit your needs.
