Accessible scenic room in rural Burgundy in Burgundy

Accessible guestroom located in a cottage next to a large holiday mansion which has 4 guestrooms. The room is spacious with a large double bed (that can be made separately or together), a comfortable bathroom with walk-in shower, and free WiFi.  The accommodation has its own entrance and comes with a private terrace with views over the courtyard and superb sunsets.
An extra bed (or cot) can be placed in the room to sleep three.

The accommodation is entirely wheelchair friendly with wide internal and external doors and a spacious, wheelchair-accessible bathroom including fixed shower chair. The outlets are at convenient height as well as the countertops in the kitchen.  There is a bedroom with bathroom, a living room, a kitchen, ample private parking, a large terrace and a south facing enclosed courtyard.

The area consists of a manor house and a cottage, on site and for use of guests is a large garden, a refreshing pool, a massage and beauty salon and wine tasting in the cellar. Ideal for those who love tranquility and space as well as for lovers of culinary indulgence. Please note not all areas are accessible.

Outdoors

The large outdoor pool is quietly situated and is shared with other guests of the house. The pool is child safe with a fence around, and it has a porch and plenty of grass for sunbathing. In the garden of the manor is a trampoline, a football field and swings, ready to entertain your children. The spacious terrace is well equipped with a picnic table with cushions, comfortable lounge chairs and a large parasol. In the courtyard you will find a clothes line where your towels can be hung to dry. The yard is fully fenced and gated, making it very child friendly.

Dining

An optional delicious three-course menu is served daily with mostly regional dishes and always fresh ingredients, you can get acquainted with the other guests. If weather permits, dinner is served outside allowing you to enjoy the food with the beautiful Frenc sunset. If you do not feel like cooking yourself one evening, then enjoy a tasty dinner with mainly regional dishes using fresh local produce, such as cheese from the farm, Charolais meat, delicious Burgundy wines, and if available products from the owners garden.

For the wine lover there is enough to taste in Burgundy, both locally in onsite wine tasting, which have been carefully selected from the various delicious Burgundy wines also their own wine named 'Latour'.

Location and Things to do nearby

'Fours' is a typical French village that has retained its rural charm and is surrounded by a fascinating woody- and hilly area with hiking and cycling routes. The accommodation is located only 250 km south of Paris, and Nevers and Autun are each at 50 km.
