Opened in 2004 by Sir Cliff Richard, the hotel is contemporary in design, yet maintaining the unique character of its Grade two listed building. Other hotel facilities include 24 hr room service, Coffee lounge, fitness room, Laundry and business services. This is an excellent hotel bang in the heart of the city centre opposite Manchester Art gallery. Just five minutes walk from the G-Mex/ MICC, the shopping district, Manchester's vibrant nightlife and the tram link to Old Trafford and The Trafford Centre. 141 beautifully furnished bedrooms all featuring "Cloud 9" beds,power showers,broadband and air conditioning and thoughtful extra touches such as salon hairdryers, irons, safe and mini fridges. All bedrooms & bathrooms are in excellent condition and have all the facilities one would expect from a 4 star hotel. (Triple and Quad room are two double beds and not suitable for four adults).
