Located on a working farm with four other properties, this spacious barn has been restored using many of the original features and characteristics of its original life as a granary.
These delightful properties, converted into comfortable holiday cottages, stand in the grounds of the owners’ working farm (care needed with children) and equestrian centre (guests can bring own horse or pony by arrangement). The Accessible Spacious Barn has been beautifully restored, taking care to use many of the original features and characteristics of its original life as a granary – the beams, the grain bag pulley system and other unknown objects have been put to good use. The barn is all on one level and has an enclosed garden with lovely views over the countryside. The chickens and pigs are a delight to watch in their free range enclosures.
This is the perfect holiday base from which to explore the many attractions Wiltshire has to offer – just 5 miles from the M4 yet in a completely rural setting. There are many footpaths and cycle routes in the surrounding area, with the Wiltshire and Berkshire canal towpaths also nearby. Within a short drive are the picturesque villages. The Roman spa city of Bath itself is a short drive and a must visit for a day out, with many famous sights to explore such as the museums, the abbey, Pulteney Bridge and the Roman baths to name but a few. Bowood House has magnificent gardens and adventure playground, and the famous ancient sites and stone circles at Stonehenge and Avebury are well worth a visit. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

First floor: 3 bedrooms: 1 double (5ft) with en-suite shower room and toilet, 1 twin, 1 single (for child, accessed through double bedroom). Bathroom with toilet. Low beams and 2 low doorways.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Property has a no smoking policy in place. Bedroom 4 is accessed via bedroom 2 (ensuite double).
