The hotel enjoys a level position directly on the sea front overlooking the famous Babbacombe Downs with far reaching beautiful views across Lyme Bay. Many of the bedrooms have stunning sea views and some have private balconies or patios.

The hotel offers accommodation for all guests, there are family rooms, single rooms and a number of disabled rooms, a large number of these have sweeping sea views and some have balconies.

All of the public areas are situated on the ground floor. The hotel has a modern passenger lift to most bedrooms, there are 8 ground floor bedrooms.

The hotel also has 9 purpose built disabled wet rooms, all disabled friendly. In addition to those rooms many of the bedrooms have step in showers with easy access

Access for Less Mobile Guests

The hotel is set on the level throughout the ground floor, there are two of ground floor disabled rooms and there are also disabled rooms on the second floor which are accessed via a passenger lift (please note mobility scooters are not permitted in the lift, however manual wheelchairs can be accommodated). Some have sea views with supplement.

• Parking at the hotel is limited.

During your stay

• There are very few steps around the building and there is a passenger lift. All corridors are well lit and carpeted.
• There is ample movable seating in both lounge areas and restaurant and there are chairs available with and without arms.
• Full waiter service is provided in the Restaurant for dinner. Breakfast service is a self serve buffet. Assistance can be provided for breakfast service if notified in advance.
• There are grab rails in the disabled bathrooms.

Other Information

• Fire Alarm - the fire alarm system is mainly an audible system - electronic siren. All bedrooms have smoke detectors and an audible alarm system. Assistance is given if evacuation is necessary. Please notify reception on arrival if assistance may be required.
• No dogs at the hotel. Guide dogs are allowed in all public areas of the hotel.
• Medical products and baby food can be stored in a designated fridge - please advise Reception if you require storage of items. All items need to be clearly labelled and the contents identified.
