You’ve got three pools to pick from – two outdoor numbers and an indoor option that's open in May and October. There’s also a pirate-themed splash park for little ones to play in. You can stroll to the nearest strip of sand in 10 minutes. It’s lined with a selection of shops, bars and restaurants.

Depending on the season, you can also tuck in to pasta and pizzas at the Italian eatery in the evenings. Lighter bites to eat, like burgers and chips, are available from the poolside snack bar. Every apartment’s fitted with a kitchenette, as well, which you can use to rustle up some of your favourite recipes.

Little ones have free rein of the kids’ club and playground. The former puts on a mini-disco. Elsewhere, the whole family can kick back and watch a music, comedy or magic show after dark.
