This property has been thoughtfully designed to be fully accessible and making it the perfect model of what a fully accessible accommodation should be like. Ensuring that a stay here is a relaxing experience from everyday life. The property has state-of-the-art equipment available to make your break away as manageable as possible.

The property is uniquely set right on the water’s edge with the perfect view of all the action. The accommodation is separated from the rest of the site by a bridge over the stream. Meaning that this property has its owner quiet corner of the quarry and enough room for two large cars.

Inside the accommodation you will find three bedrooms, an open plan living area with a accessible kitchen, a fully accessible wet room and a decking which overlooks the beautiful lake.

As you arrive to the property you will be taken away by the views of the stunning lake surrounding the property. The modern timber-clad exterior of the property gives you the luxurious feeling and when you step inside you will not want to leave!

The property has a level access threshold and a large open plan living space with large picture windows looking out to the view of the lake and allowing the property to be filled with light. The sliding door can be opened to take in these picturesque views even more when you step out onto the huge decking area.

The living room has been designed to maximise the views, the living room is spacious and modern, and the kitchen has a variable height kitchen countertop with all the equipment you will need during your self-catering stay. There is also a laundry/storeroom by the front door.

Bedroom one is a large bedroom with a choice of a super king double or twin beds and it’s own en-suite wet room which is fully accessible. The bedroom can have an electric profiling bed added and there is a top-of-the-range electric ceiling hoist which takes you from the bedroom to the wet room allowing easy movement between the rooms.

Next to bedroom one is bedroom two and this room can be made up as twin beds of a 6ft double if you prefer. This room has been placed to act as a ‘carers room’ if you need someone close by during the night.

Bedroom three is on the other side of the living-room and again can either be a twin or a large double.

There is also a shared wet room which is near bedroom three.

All three bedrooms have plenty of space and extra wide doorways.

Make the most of the outside decking area which overlooks the lake, whether that be enjoying your morning cuppa, dining al freso or relaxing in the hot tub.

The Lake, formerly a serpentine quarry, offers a 10-acre expanse of idyllic, sheltered water on an enclosed site – big enough to provide challenging activities, but safe enough for independent exploration. Making it the perfect place for fuelling children’s imaginations.

Watersports on site

The vision of the site is to create a facility where children and young people of all abilities can enjoy watersports. The professional instructors are there to ensure that the watersports are inclusive, specially equipped and accessible to all.

During your stay you will most likely spend most of your day taking part in paddlesports and other fun events. Six weeks before you are due to arrive the team on site will be in contact to offer you a 15% discount on the watersports and discuss a bespoke service to suit your needs.
