Description
It is made up of a combination of low rise sprawling buildings set in woodland. Some are wooden in design with others built from stone materials
The hotel also offers a wide range of activities to compliment the variety of accommodation types. It is an excellent and characteristic base from which to explore the Lappish countryside and move on northwards to north cape. There is no real 'centre' to the small village of Saariselka, and the Saariselan Tunturihotelli is located in a large area of land off the town's only road
The numerous buildings comprise family apartments and individual guest rooms, all named after animals found in the surrounding wilderness. 50% are small, 30% medium and 20% large. All are in exceptional condition and decorated in rustic country style.
