Description
As a border and trading town between Andalusia and La Mancha, Baaza prospered in the 16th century and is famed for the houses built during this era. The hotel occupies a 19th century building that later served as a prison before becoming the private residence of a judge, and then was for many years a guesthouse. In 1995, the town decided to transform the building into a hotel. Newly renovated in 2002, there is a 2-storey main building with a total of 12 rooms. Facilities within the hotel include a reception desk with a safe, a bar and an air-conditioned restaurant. Guests arriving by car may take advantage of the car park or garage. Laundry services are also included as part of the hotel's facilities. There is a swimming pool available for use in the hotel grounds as well as a sun terraceThis pleasant hotel is situated close to the famous nature and wildlife reserve of Sierra de Cazorla and Segura y Las Villas. Artists and craftspeople use the hotel for exhibitions. Baeua is approximately 1 km away, and links to the public transport network are located directly in front of the hotel
