It is recommended guests stay on a bed and breakfast basis, which provides the freedom to explore Garruchas restaurants, but for those wishing to stay at the resort, the hotels own 'Blue Restaurant' comes highly recommended. The menu and quality of the food is simply outstanding! Breakfast is available at a time to suit you and can be taken in the restaurant, art gallery, garden area or your room if preferred. The lift also leads to the rooftop Terraza/Bar where you can have a drink and enjoy the Mediterranean views. Please note that the hotel restaurant is closed one night per week (generally Sundays). The hotel also hosts a small wine shop where you can purchase wine for your evening meal or simply to take away with you.

Area information
Garrucha is located between the beaches of historic Mojacar and the next town of Vera. The Tikar Hotel is a small and intimate hotel located within 250m of Garruchas beach and long flat promenade.
The province is steeped in history. The area, with its unspoilt coastline, national parks, mountains and valleys provides an overwhelming sense of space, and offers an exciting new world to be explored. Inland Almeria has an almost lunar landscape of desert, sandstone and dried up riverbeds and has long been a popular choice for filming adventure and western style epics.
