Description

Situated in the beautiful and picturesque Weardale Valley, this beautiful cottage provides outstanding views across some of the most scenic countryside the county has to offer.

One of two cottages located high up on the hillside and surrounded by working farmland, this detached holiday property stands adjacent to the owner’s home and is the perfect location for guests wanting to really explore the local area and beyond.

Perfect for guests of all ages and abilities, the cottages have been sympathetically designed to accommodate wheelchair users and guests with limited walking ability, and they hold a Visit England Level 2 Disabled Property accreditation.

Beautifully renovated and furnished to a very good standard, both cottages offer exceptional comfort and facilities. All on one level, guests will find a spacious and well-presented living room, with views across the surrounding hills and countryside. Each has a large, well-equipped kitchen, perfect for enjoying a well-cooked evening meal. The cottage has three bedrooms, which include one single room, one twin room and one double room with an en-suite shower room, as well as a large family bathroom with a shower for the disabled.

The farm has won two Green Tourism Awards from the North Pennines Tourism Partnership, which are awarded to an enterprise that makes a “positive contribution to tourism and the environment in the North Pennines”.
