Description

Ideal for those who want a truly memorable self-catering holiday located to the South of Windermere

An accessible self catering caravan available for stays longer than three nights. The accessible caravan sleeps up to four persons, comprising two bedrooms. Each bedroom has two full size single beds. There is a mobile electric hoist available to use, however we do not supply slings so please bring your own.

The separate accessible wetroom with toilet and shower is located off the central corridor with wide frame doors throughout the interior. A height adjustable shower chair is also provided in the wetroom. Fully equipped kitchen, full inventory with low level appliances leading into open plan diner and living room, complete with TV/DVD. Ramped access and veranda to located to the front of the property, with level tarmac parking for one vehicle. The caravan is fully equipped including bedding and towels.

Pets allowed.

Facilities onsite include a laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryers, drying cabinets, iron. The information room has a charging point, local area information, games and book exchange facility. We also have a small outdoor play area for our younger visitors too. 

There are various recycling points throughout the Park and battery recycling in reception. The emergency phone is located by reception and comprehensive holiday home information if you want to stay a little longer, perhaps?

Wi-fi is available throughout the park *small charge . 

The Park covers some 25 acres, parts of which are completely undeveloped and form a natural habitat for many forms of wildlife. Accommodation on the Park consists of six self - catering caravans and one lodge and one cottage. The majority of the Holiday Homes on the Park are privately owned.

Nearby facilities

The nearby shop/garage is accessed a short walk from the Park. There is a public footpath through the Park and easy access to local walking/cycling routes. The villages of Cartmel, Grange over Sands and Lake Windermere are a short drive away, with a wide range of outdoor activities, visitor attractions, award winning pubs and restaurants and the famous Sticky Toffee pudding shop. 

Located to the Southern shore of Windermere within easy access to water activities including boat and canoe hire, sailing, lake cruises, restaurants, shopping, and a variety of walking and cycling routes. Windermere lake cruises and Lakeside steam railway provide a rail and cruise link link to the towns of Bowness and Ambleside to the North. The ancient village of Cartmel with its famous Priory, award winning restaurants including L’Enclume, Cartmel sticky toffee pudding and the Cartmel Racecourse is also just four miles from our front door.
