Situated in the beautiful village of St Keverne, this lovely three-bedroom bungalow sleeps four and has been adapted to include a bedroom with a ceiling hoist, profiling bed and wet room for those with limited or no mobility.

The accessible bungalow features off-road parking and an enclosed garden, with ramps making the property accessible for wheelchair users.

The bungalow is ideally situated on the Lizard Peninsula, one mile from Porthoustock Beach, two miles from Porthallow Beach and the beautiful fishing village of Coverack, and 12 miles from the town of Helston.

Please note: The reclining armchair does not rise. Further equipment may be available on request.

Lounge and Dining Area

A light, airy open-plan lounge, dining and kitchen area. This room features a three-seater settee and reclining armchair, coffee table and TV. Dining table with seating for four. There is a ramp to the patio door leading to the flat paved area of the garden. WiFi available.

Bedroom One

This bedroom has been adapted for those with little to no mobility. It features a large single (4ft by 6ft) electric profiling bed with sides. A large window makes this a light, airy room, while the wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside table allow for storage. A ceiling hoist above the bed leads to the en-suite, consisting of a wet room with height-adjustable shower, portable shower commode chair and toilet. Grab rails are situated near the toilet and shower. Heated towel rail.

Bedroom Two

This bedroom has a 4ft by 6ft double bed, plus a mirrored wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside table available for storage.

Bedroom Three

A small single room, with a single divan bed with storage underneath. This bedroom has a chest of drawers and window facing the side of the property.

Family Bathroom

A light, airy bathroom with a bath, incorporating a height-adjustable shower. Toilet and hand basin with shaving points available. Heated towel rail.

Kitchen

A modern fitted kitchen with a range of units and cupboards, integrated appliances including a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer and electric oven and hob, as well as smaller appliances including a toaster and microwave.

Garden

An enclosed garden. The paved area is accessible to wheelchair users, with ramps leading to the patio doors. A raised grassy area with trees and a shed surrounds the paved area. Outdoor table and chairs are available.

Driveway, Parking and Approach

The brick driveway is on a slight slope, leading to the property, with off-road parking for two cars. There is further easy parking in a lay-by opposite the entrance. A ramped pathway, suitable for wheelchairs, also on a slight slope, leads to the front door.

Local shops are a short walk away in an attractive square, with a post office, two pubs and a church. A medical centre, with access to the doctors is situated on the edge of the village of St Keverne. The nearest hospital is in Helston, approx 12 miles.
