Visitors to the area can, from this point on North Wales, easily explore all attractions including those of the neighbouring county of Cheshire. Nearby are the Welsh Mountain Zoo at Colwyn Bay, delightful Llandudno with an excellent array of shops, dry ski slope and cable car rides, Conwy and Caernarfon castles, Bodnant Gardens, Portmeirion Italianate Village, Mount Snowdon, various mountain railways with superb scenery, in addition to these day trips on the North Wales coastline you will find a riding centre, a variety of fishing golf and numerous walks.
