Part of a villa fashioned from old agricultural buildings, this comfortably furnished two-floor apartment occupies a prime location in the lower folds of the Pratomagno mountains, in the upper Arno Valley.

The apartment is surrounded by beautiful countryside characterised by the presence of the “balze”, a centuries-old terrain of pinnacles and ravines sculpted from the bare rock. This striking scenery has a unique, otherworldly beauty that inspired works by Leonardo da Vinci, over 500 years ago.

The apartment retains its original rustic character via the use of traditional wood, terracotta and stone materials. On one side it looks out to a wooden porch where there is a large garden area equipped with barbecue and table tennis facilities. On the other side is a 6x12m swimming pool (depth 1.40m) completely fenced and for guests’ exclusive use.

There is a farm onsite, where guests can taste and buy local produce, such as extra virgin olive oil, vegetables, game, fruit, wine etc. On the ground floor of the owner’s house there is a small restaurant, open to guests of the villa and other visitors, which sells delicious local dishes.

Ground floor: The apartment’s ground floor is accessible by wheelchair. It has a sitting/dining room with kitchenette, double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower suitable for disabled guests, walkthrough sitting room with satellite TV, and a bathroom with shower.

First floor: The first floor, reached either by spiral staircase from the sitting room or outside steps, has a double bedroom and large, covered terrace-solarium equipped with table and chairs.
