Pools

Swim-up bars and infinity-style edges set the standard at the two pools. One is a walk-in number with hammocks strung up over the water, while the other is criss-crossed by pretty wooden bridges. Hot snacks are dished out at the pool bar between meals, and the fully-loaded burgers get top marks on TripAdvisor.

The huge heated outdoor pool snakes around a large terrace surrounded by palm trees and little wooden bridges. Sunlougers are spread around the pool's edges, and there's a pool bar for snacks and drinks with the added bonus of great views of the sea.

Mexican dance troupes and fire-jugglers perform on the terrace after dark, while drinks are served at the lively beach bar. If you’d rather sip on a cocktail indoors, there are three other bars to choose from, plus a fourth for club guests. Cancun’s bar and club-studded strip is a 40-minute drive away if you want to take things up a notch.
