Want to cruise or wondering if it will suit your disability requirements?
Cruising with Royal Caribbean Cruises is one of the most perfect holidays for disabled passengers because the ships feature: disabled adapted cabins, accessible restaurants, accessible sun decks, lifts throughout the ship plus activities and shore excursions available to people of all abilities. Royal Caribbean's aim is to make all guests as comfortable as possible both on and off the ship. The cruise ships have spacious corridors to accommodate 180 degree turns for wheelchairs, most decks are accessible through automatic doors and all public rooms feature entrances with gradual inclines.
Royal Caribbean provide complimentary wheelchair assistance for embarkation and disembarkation, however, if you would like the use of a wheelchair or scooter for the duration of your cruise, then you are welcome to bring your own on board or you can hire one from an outside vendor.

Royal Caribbean welcome guests with cognitive, intellectual and development disabilities such as autism, cerebral palsy, Downs Syndrome and Alzheimer's disease. However, under these circumstances, the guest must be travelling with someone who is fully able to assist them throughout the duration of their holiday.
Please note: Guests who normally have a carer but are not travelling with them, must be fully self sufficient or be travelling with someone who can assist them with their daily needs that are normally performed by a carer.
There have been many technological advances developed to assist guests who are deaf and hard of hearing, and at Royal Caribbean International, they have made every attempt to employ them wherever and whenever possible. There's no reason everyone can't enjoy the Royal Caribbean cruise vacation to the fullest.
